Site Lantern (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Information we collect
This website is a static site. It does not contain contact forms, user accounts or shopping features, and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
- Email enquiries. If you contact us at support@sitelantern.com, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, company and the content of your message.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) may record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use this only to operate and secure the site.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry or demo request and to communicate with you about our services.
- To operate, maintain and protect this website.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Third-party content
- Fonts. Web fonts are served by Hoefler&Co. (typography.com). Your browser requests the font files from their servers when the page loads.
- Video. Our home page embeds a video from YouTube using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may set cookies or collect data if you play the video. See Google’s privacy policy.
- External links. Links to partner websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

This website does not set cookies of its own. Third-party content described above may set cookies subject to those providers’ policies.
Storage and security
Email correspondence is stored in our business email systems and retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to maintain a record of our business relationship. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
